Storm Born comics 1 - 3

***REVIEW***
I was given the chance to read and review volumes 1 - 3 of the Storm Born comics by Gladys from Sea Lion Books. To tell you the truth, I was sooooooo excited I literally squealed lol.

About Storm Born: Eugenie Markham is a freelance shaman, guarding our world from the invasion of Otherworldly creatures. Those who try have "The Dark Swan" to contend with. But Eugenie's about to cross into the Otherworld alone to rescue a girl that nobody else will. Will she make it back across alive?
These comics are based on Storm Born, book 1 in the Dark Swan series by Richelle Mead (author of the Vampire Academy series)

To start off, I fell in love with the artwork just from looking at the covers. The amount of detail that has gone into the images is some of the best I've seen on comics. As I was reading them, I noticed that the stay true to the book and included the more adult scenes but they were done in such a way as to not make it too much of an adult read. The artists (Dave Hamann & Jennyson Rosero) did a very good job with designing the characters too as they we just as I imagined they looked like when I was read Storm Born.
The more you read these comics, the more you don't want to put them down. I love reading comics and graphic novels of books by some of my fave authors and these were definitely no exception. They have been beautifully adapted from the novel and I definitely recommend both the comics and the book.

All in all I would give them ★★★★★. You definitely won't be disappointed

My Perfect Wedding by Sibel Hodge

I won my e-copy of this in a blog hop =)

This has to be my first time at reading a book in this genre, and I must say I absolutely LOVED it.
It is the sequel to Sibel's novel Fourteen Days Later, but it can be read as a standalone novel.
I just loved the characters and the whole storyline. It takes place in Northern Cyprus and after reading all the descriptions of the place, it makes me really want to go there on holiday.
I definitely  recommend this to everyone =)

Rant over posters

Im currently having a major rant on the prices of posters!! Argh they are so expensive and all they are are paper really. My brother will be moving out shortly, so I will have 2 bedrooms, so Im looking for a new poster to go in my new bedroom. Only problem is the price. If the new poster was a Twilight Saga one, I would be willing to pay the price, but seeing as I already have 5 huge Twilight Saga posters and a 3D Eclipse poster, I want something different.
I was thinking of a Stefan Salvatore poster but amazon/amazon sellers want more p&p for the poster than the poster itself.
What I reallllllly want is a Hunger Games movie poster, but amazon wants £10 ($16.37) for the poster plus another £4 ($6.55) for the p&p. Why do they want so much money for paper?!? Its stupid =(

Wicked Lovely Series

So I'm currently reading The Wicked Lovely books by Melissa Marr. I'm on the last book, Darkest Mercy, and I will hopefully finish it by the end of today, making it the 53rd book I've read this year.
I must admit, when I started book 1, I found it slow and I really couldn't get into it. But I stuck with them hoping it would get better.  And boy was it worth it! The series has been building up to the last book, and the more I read the more I don't want to put my Kindle down.
When I usually read a book, I usually get a fave character/s within a few chapters but, with these books, it took me until books 2 & 4 to find my faves. They are Niall, Irial, Devlin and Ani.
I'm a few chapters into Darkest Mercy, and I'm hoping that by the end, it was worth me sticking with these books
