Cover Reveal! Stolen by Keren Hughes

Ok, so I don't usually do the whole blogging thing but, today is different........I wanted to help a wonderful lady and friend with her cover reveal :)

I've been online friends with Keren for a while now and I was really happy for her when I found out she was writing a book. I beta read a few chapters for her and I was there for her through her writers block or when she wanted to bounce around some ideas! And if I remember correctly, I practically begged her to write a sequel because, I fell in love with her world and the characters.......and I totally need more Bodhi *swoons* I think everyone will fall in love with him! I even help on her Pinterest board for the book......I'll never get tired of seeing pictures of Devin Paisley and Robert Downey Jr :P

From the chapters I read, I knew it was gonna get picked up by a publisher and it did! When she told me, I was so excited you'd have thought it was me who wrote the book ahaha! I can't think anyone who deserves this more than Keren! She truly is an inspiration to me <3

So, without further ado, here is the beautiful cover for Stolen by Keren Hughes.......

Coming November 2013…

SYNOPSIS:

Roshanna O'Dare wakes up in her own home in shock when she discovers part of her memory is missing and her parents are dead…

With no clues of any kind as to what happened to her parents, and no other close family, Roshanna must move to Texas, Austin, to live with her last living relative, Uncle Joe after the funeral. But this means leaving her best friend, Marissa Mason behind.

That’s when she meets Bodhi Vincent, her uncle’s chauffeur, who seems to understand Roshanna in a way no one else has…

Bodhi is her rock after the death of her parents and the longer she stays with her uncle, the closer they become.

But before moving away, Roshanna was confronted with a shocking secret that Marissa had kept from her, a secret that changes how she sees life and the people in it—Marissa is a pure soul and her foster parents are soul drainers who need her pure energy to survive.

More shockingly, her parents’ souls were stolen by their murderer.

When Roshanna and Bodhi try and track down Marissa’s father, Leith Mason, in order to retrieve her parents’ souls back, they find themselves held hostage at gunpoint.

Will Roshanna and Bodhi survive? Will she ever find her parents souls? Or will their souls be the next ones to be taken?

ABOUT THE AUTHOR:

Keren lives in the UK and is an avid bookworm; she has been since she read things like Black Beauty, What Katy Did and The Hobbit as a child. Her first real memories of reading are the summers she used to lie on her bed and re-read What Katy Did and What Katy Did Next.

Over the years she has come to realise that she is a bit OCD about books. They have to be in perfect condition without the slightest bit of damage.

She is a book reviewer and has been for the past 18 months or so.

The idea for Stolen came to her one day but she never thought she’d actually write it let alone publish it. If it wasn’t for her author friend Kira Saito, the idea would still be stuck in her head not on paper. But constant love and support from Kira is why you are now able to read Stolen.

Stolen is her first novel but now that she’s written one, she knows she needs to write more. There will be one sequel, called Freed which will be from Bodhi’s POV. This will be set a couple of years on.

Then, the plan is for her to write either NA or Adult Contemporary Romances. She has a big crush on Lady Antebellum’s music at the moment and their songs have inspired a few book ideas.

Twisted Perfection by Abbi Glines - Mini Review Thingy

Life outside of her house was a new experience for Della Sloane. The dark secrets of her past weren’t something she ever intended to share with anyone. They would never understand. No one would ever get close enough to find out. There was always a chance she’d go crazy sooner than they expected…

Woods Kerrington had never been one to be attracted to fragile females. They seemed like too much work. He wasn’t in it for the work just the pleasure. A night full of naughty fun had been exactly what was on his mind when he’d laid eyes on the hot little number that didn’t know how to pump gas and needed some help.

What he didn’t know was she was as fragile as they came.
The carefree girl who spoke her mind and didn’t care what the world thought of her was more breakable than he could ever imagine…

I don't usually write reviews as I'm not good at writing out my thoughts but, I have just finished reading this and I just had to write something.

This book is amazing! I didn't think I would like Woods & Della's story as much as I loved Rush & Blaire's but, I was completely wrong.
This book affected me so much. I do voluntary work with a Mental Health charity and I see so many people living with what Della & her Mother go through everyday, and I'm glad that an author like Abbi is able to tackle topics like mental health issues. I haven't read many books in this genre that tackle issues like these but, I'd have to say that this one has to be the best I've read.

I didn't think Abbi could create a character that would beat Rush but, she has surprised me with Woods. Don't get me wrong, I loved him in Fallen Too Far & Never Too Far but, he was just perfect in this. The way he cares for Della is inspiring and I wish I saw more people like him in everyday life!

This book is great and can't wait to read the rest of Woods & Della's story in Simple Perfection later this year!

Another great book Abbi, thanks for being brave enough to write about mental health issues <3
